Academy Roofing

We have worked with Bailey on two projects so far. First for roof maintenance when we bought our new home and second time for new gutters. Both experiences were excellent. Great communication and working within our budget, not pushy sales tactics at all, and both crews arrived on time and finished as planned. We will definitely work with Academy for all future needs and refer to neighbors and friends. Thank you!

I was seeking out a roofing company to replace my roof, and calling different companies, I dealt with: 1) No responses to my calls; 2) No call back, but days later they drop off their flyers at my door; 3) One company came out, inspected, and said they'd have an estimate by Monday. They call back a few days after Monday with no estimate, but a speech about what I already know about how awful Atlas chalet shingles are. Then they promised to email me the estimate within a week. A month goes by, and still no response.

After reading reviews about Academy Roofing on Yelp, I decided to reach out. They responded quickly, and were able to come out to provide an estimate in a timely manner. Scott came out, inspected, and wrote up the estimate (the last company I tried to use were trying to send me on a wild odyssey before providing an estimate to me). They were ready to get started on the project as early as the following week.

Once I decided on a date, they got to work. The crew arrived on time, and did an excellent job. The only issue that I had was that a baluster on an exterior balcony was knocked off. They rectified the issue by deducting the potential cost to replace it off of the total bill.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the results and the level of service that they provided.

Needed a quick repair done on our roof due to an Inspection by our Buyers. Couldnt even get a call back from all the companies I called. Was so nice to call Academy and actually speak to a live person who followed up and had someone out quickly to take care of it. They did an excellent job, for a fair price and left my yard clean.

Academy Roofing was the contractor provided by our home warranty company, in response to a roof leak claim. They responded within a day of filing our claim and had an estimator, Scott, at our house in just a couple days. He showed up at exactly the promised time. Within the following week, repair crew was onsite to repair and replace shingles, flashing and boots around vent pipes that were leak issues. They also replaced siding that was crumbling adjacent to fixed roof leak, on a following visit. Academy had to deal with rainy days, siding that was no longer available and matching siding paint. The quality of work was excellent, and people involved were exceedingly pleasant. I would highly recommend Academy Roofing.

I wanted to update my review to 3-4 stars because I did get a call from the owner who wanted to apologize and try to make things right. I appreciated the response even though I made my decision to go with another company

I used Yelp to find a roofing contractor to give a consult on a specific area. Academy Roofing had a quick response and came out to give me good advice. Chris and his partner were the initial consultants but I had someone do the actual work. At the consult, they were very helpful and gave a lot of advice which I appreciated. Afterward, they allowed me time to review my options without blowing up my phone. I followed up with my questions based on the agreement provided and Chris was very quick to respond. I decided to go with them as they had the best price, were not pushy in their communication, and answered my follow up questions clearly. We were able to schedule the work earlier than originally communicated. The work was done quickly and looked good. I would have liked the after pictures sent to me but I did see it after the work was completed. It looked well done. You can pay by card but there was not a cash option at the time of my service.

We had a leak in our roof. When the inspection was complete they quickly identified the problem. The repairs were completed in less than a week.

I have no regrets. My roof was leaking and after 2 adjusters and one other contractor (who wanted me to replace the whole roof) they couldn't find the leak. Academy Roofing found the leak while it was wet outside and in a matter of minutes.

Academy Roofing responded in a timely manner and when I was ready to get the job done, I was put on the schedule within a reasonable amount of time.

I have used Academy Roofing on three occasions on two different homes. Great job and fair price.

They did a great job making a repair to the soffits and cornices of a home that my buyer was purchasing, so that we could get the home appraisal re-inspected and approved for their loan. They understood the urgency, as we had a tight turnaround/deadline, and got the job done well and on time. They are also honest, economical and will not try to upsell you on services that you don't need.

As a REALTOR, they are now my "go to" roofing company when I have roofing needs during the sales process and for making recommendations to clients when they need work done on their home.
