This session is for builders who want to know how to better protect themselves. Risk Management and solid contracts keep the plaintiff lawyers away! Being PROACTIVE, is critical.

James Leach will facilitate this session. He is an attorney, working in the field of construction defect liabilities for over 20 years. He is a CPCU, CLU, graduate of Duke University and holds an MBA and MI from Georgia State University. He has served as Executive Vice President and Counsel for Insurance Specialty Group (ISG) since 2005 [in strategic partnership with HomeBuyers Warranty Corp]. He will be assisted by insurance executives from SMG Insurance; and warranty executives from HBW. ISG, SMG and HBW are members of the Association.executives from member SMG Insurance; and warranty executives from HBW.

The Housing Institute has approved this seminar for three (3) continuing education credits. This session is approved under the Rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education hours.
